Hua Hin & Cha-am Discovery

Highlights

Those searching for a pleasant, leisurely outing will find this tour a delight. Delve into Hua Hin’s history as a royal seaside getaway destination by visiting the Thai-Victorian style mansion “Marughadayavan Palace” located in Cha-Am, Hua Hin’s sister beach town. Commissioned by King Rama VI, this elegant, candy-coloured mansion comprises three one-storey buildings, all built from golden teak and connected by an elevated, covered walkway, designed to catch cool breeze from all directions.

From Cha-Am, journey back to Hua Hin and continue southwards to Khao Takiab (chopstick hill). This lonely hill, also called the “Monkey Mountain” as it shelters a troop of wild monkeys, is home to Khao Takiab Temple and Khao Krailas Temple. Atop the hill, you can get a bird’s eye view of the entire northern and southern stretches of Khao Takiab Beach.
