| Established in 1893, The Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) is the founding ground of golf in Malaysia and the premier Malaysia golf club. Superbly a sanctuary amid the city center, the beautifully landscaped parkland courses command a panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur’s skyline and are always a joy to play. The founding members played at another site for over twenty five years before being forced to move to the present location when the government acquired the original estate for use as a public park. Over a ten-year period, starting in 1921, work continued at the new venue – nine holes at a time – until a wonderful pair of 18-hole courses evolved. An abundance of mature trees, lush greenery, and picturesque vistas ensure the golfing experience at the RSGC lives up to its royal heritage. |
